Primary caregivers (guardians) play a central role in the structure of “young person – primary caregivers – school”.
It is important that schools and educators win them as alliance partners for the education of young people and strengthen them in their role, because:
… cooperation promotes mutual understanding between the educational partners (young person – primary caregivers – educators).
… educators can get a more comprehensive picture of a young person. Only in this way is it possible to provide the best possible support at school.
… primary caregivers can better encourage and support young people in their learning.
… primary caregivers can exchange their views in contact with other caregivers and strengthen each other in their task.
Appreciative cooperation increases the satisfaction of all parties involved.
